☐ Ropa para las actividades de noche (más limpio; hay discos, karaoke…)
☐ Pijamas para estar cómodo delante de más niños (están en dormitorios)
☐ Bañador, chanclas y gorro

☐ Un par de tenis que se puede mojare/ ensuciar.
☐ Otro tenis para las actividades menos sucias.

☐ Cantimplora (de cristal, no!)

☐ Enchufe adaptador si va a llevar algo electrónico (es un enchufe británico & irlandés con
3 pinchos triangulares)
☐ Ganas a involucrarte en actividades y hacer amigos…. todo en ingles of course!
CONSEJOS:
☐ Dinero de bolsillo: £40-50/ sem. Hay pequeñas tiendas con chuches, latas de zumo, recuerdos y poco más. Pero durante las excursiones puede gastar más. Podéis hacer una trasferencia directamente al centro o si tu hijo lleva su dinero puede ingresarlo en recepción al llegar. Cada día hay horarios de “banco” cuando puede acudir y sacar dinero necesario por el día.
☐ Móviles: Recomiendo que no llevan móviles/iPad/tablets durante el día, porque el camp no se hacen responsables de robos y/o daños. Hay poca recepción en todo el recinto de todas formas.
☐ Comunicación: Poco o ningún recomendado, siempre se puede utilizar el teléfono para contactar con vosotros. Yo os facilitará el número del camp en caso de emergencia.
☐ Medicación: Auto-medicación está prohibida, habrá que entregar todo medicación en recepción al llegar y la matrona lo administrará.
☐ Etiquetas: Poner el nombre del todas las prendas y artículos.
No olvides que por ley, debes autorizar a tu hijo a viajar solo, rellenando un formulario en la comisaría de tu localidad antes del vuelo. Para esto, ambos padres legales deben ir con el Libro de Familia (Libro de Familia) y DNIs de todos.
Packing List for Campers in Residential Summer Camp
CLOTHES:
☐ Comfortable clothes that allow plenty of movement – and not the child’s best ones as they will get dirty without a doubt (tracksuits are better than jeans).
☐ Sweatshirt to wear over PJs or “onesy”
☐ Sweatshirts/Jersey for outside activities (they will get dirty)
☐ Raincoat and jacket if it gets cold, you have to be prepared for 4 seasons in a day in the UK!
☐ Long-sleeved shirts (& short-sleeved if you want)
☐ Clothes for night activities (cleaner/nicer; there are discos, karaoke…)
☐ PJs to be comfortable in front of other children (they are in dorms)
☐ Swimsuit, flip flops and hat
☐ A thermal shirt
☐ And: underwear, pants…
SHOES
☐ A pair of sports shoes that can get wet/dirty.
☐ Another pair of shoes for less dirty activities.
☐ Hiking/walking shoes
OTHER ARTICLES
☐ A medium/small towel to get dirty
☐ A bath towel
☐ Water bottle/ metal thermos (not glass!)
☐ A large plastic bag for dirty clothes.

☐ Adapter plug if you are bringing anything electronic (it is a British & Irish plug with 3 triangular skewers)
☐ Mentally prepared to get involved in activities and make friends…. all in English of course!
TIPS:
☐ Pocket money: £40-50/ week. There are small shops with sweets, juice cans, souvenirs and some other little things. But during excursions you can spend more. You can make a transfer directly to the center or if your child has their money, they can deposit it at reception when they arrive. Every day there are “bank” hours when you can go and withdraw money needed for the day.
☐ Cell phones: I recommend that they do not bring cell phones/iPad/tablets on daily activities etc because the camp is not responsible for theft and/or damage. There is also little reception throughout the premises.
☐ Communication: Little or none recommended, they can always use the phone to contact you. I will provide you with the camp number in case of emergency.
☐ Medication: Self-medication is prohibited, all medication must be given in reception upon arrival and the nurse will administer it.
☐ Labels: Put the name of your child on all clothes and items.
Do not forget that by law, you must authorise your child to travel alone, by filling out a form at your local police station before the flight. For this, both legal parents must go with the Family Book (Libro de Familia) and IDs.
